we all ignored each other for about 5 minutes.

we never were good at fighting for long.

eating lunch. there are people streaming everywhere. I can’t help but wonder where we will all be in 3 years, and how different this place will look.

More and more I am finding myself saying “come January…”

We all do, around here. Looking ahead is something we’re real good at.

What if instead, I started saying “come today… Lord willing…”

Slowly learning to see the God-graces in the small moments.

 

I can hardly wait for days ahead, but I wouldn’t trade a today for the world.

I am still in the coffee shop listening to high schoolers giggle about their iPhones. so glad I’m older now.

pulling out the christmas tree… you can feel the joy emanating from our house.

as junior year approaches, I can’t help but gape at how fast the time flew. I wish you could those hold moments for decades. what a tremendous gift we have to capture time.

She had never seen this much snow. Being a puppy, she pounced on it, and with delight discovered that she could dig.
