it’s the last official day of classes. oddly enough, there is peace about it. I thought it would be more complicated than this.

my dog is curled up next to me. fruit dessert in the oven. good books stacked high. 13 inches on the ground, 3 more to go. let’s do this blizzard.

let it snow

 

long car ride. it took us nearly twice as long to get there. but the laughter and joy emanating from the backyard was so worth every minute of the drive. Christmas is so wonderful. CHRIST is so wonderful.

philosophy

 

Writing a philosophy paper. But wait...

Is it a paper, or merely the impression of a paper?

Or maybe it is the idea of the idea of the form of a paper that is hidden in the world of the forms in the noumenal world.

Or maybe it is just my emotions influencing my thought process such that it imposes the form of the paper on my mind.

 

OR is my mind imposing itself on the idea of the paper, making true knowledge of the paper possible??

he’s the kind of teacher who doesn’t make you feel like your world will come to an end as we know it if you don’t pass this one test. he treats us all like his own 4 college aged grandkids. it makes going to class so much easier.
